Genius Solutions develops a complete ERP suite purpose-built for small- and mid-sized manufacturers handling custom and project-based orders, with all software built, maintained and implemented in-house. The company is pursuing a 10-year plan targeting 25% annual growth and reports being on track at the three-year mark. Management is investing in a major product update to make the platform faster, more portable and easier to implement, and plans to use capital to support deeper penetration into the US and ROC markets. Operational expansion includes a move to a new Quebec City office in early 2018 with three times the current square footage and plans to hire about 50 additional employees, bringing headcount to over 130. The company was founded in 1989 and currently employs more than 80 people. Genius Solutions was also named a finalist for the Quebec Technology Association’s SME of the Year award.
