Genoskin

1, Place Pierre Potier, Toulouse, Occitanie, 31100, France

Overview

Genoskin is a French-American contract research organization that leverages donated human skin and proprietary preservation technology to keep immunocompetent skin viable for up to seven days after surgery. The resulting ex vivo platforms generate rich multiomics datasets that are interpreted with AI and advanced bioinformatics to provide human-relevant insights into toxicity and efficacy. Supported by a strong IP portfolio, a reliable tissue-sourcing network and a scalable service model, the company already counts many major global pharmaceutical firms among its clients across biopharma, cosmetics, and cell- and gene-therapy sectors. Genoskin’s technology is particularly valuable for skin-related delivery routes such as injectables, including vaccines, and topically administered drugs. With its first $8.7 million funding round now closed, the company intends to double its workforce within three years and broaden its commercial footprint in Europe and Asia by 2026. Future plans include launching new immune-centric service offerings by 2027, developing biosimulation platforms and novel human immune models, and scaling production through industrial automation. Genoskin will expand manufacturing capacity at upgraded facilities in Salem, Massachusetts in 2026 and Toulouse, France in 2027, enabling doubled skin-model output and U.S. next-day delivery of fresh human mast cells.
