GeoCV offers a mobile app for 3D scanning of apartments paired with a cloud processor that stitches scans into navigable 3D models. The resulting models are published to SketchFab and can be experienced in VR using Google Cardboard and other systems. The company hosts virtual apartment fly-throughs on its website with labeled rooms for closer inspection. Founders Anton Yakubenko and Gleb Krivovyaz hold PhDs from the Graphics & Media Lab at Moscow State University and previously worked on research products. GeoCV is part of the Starta Accelerator in New York and plans to launch a usable product next year. Financially, it has raised $700,000 from four investors, including Rothenberg Ventures.
