GeoMoby develops a location-intelligence platform that provides live tracking, complex geofencing and real-time alerts and actions based on conditions such as dwell-time, body temperature, weather and traffic. The platform is positioned for underground and surface mining as well as construction sites and can visualise assets and people in multi-storey buildings, remote areas and underground tunnels. GeoMoby is targeting long-term contracts with Western Australian underground miners while also pitching the technology to surface miners, construction and renewables companies to protect cultural heritage sites. The company plans to use the new capital to expand its sales, business development teams and engineering staff to support broader rollout. Founded in 2013 by French-born CEO Chris Baudia, GeoMoby says it is Australia’s most advanced location intelligence platform specialised in mining and construction.
