GetBonkers develops mobile learning and game apps for children, including Lil’ Drummer, Lil’ Brainiac and Bottlecaps. The company joined the Amplify.LA accelerator and will participate in an intensive, mentor-driven program to help grow the business. As part of the program GetBonkers will receive up to $50k in seed funding and dedicated office space. The package also includes hands-on mentor meetings, introductions to investors and a three-year hiatus on city taxes. Lil’ Brainiac is designed to help kids and adults learn words, objects, concepts, places, people and languages via proven visual/audio methods. The company was founded by Charles Chase and is pursuing growth through the Amplify.LA program based in Los Angeles.
