GetGo Carsharing, which debuted in 2021 and is headquartered in Singapore, operates a fleet of more than 2,100 vehicles across about 1,400 stations. Users can reserve vehicles for periods from one hour up to five days, with pay-by-time-and-distance pricing that covers fuel, upkeep, and insurance and no subscription or deposit fees; rates start at US$2.20. The platform records over 150,000 reservations per month. GetGo’s stated mission is to reduce the need for car ownership in Singapore and by 2030 to serve more than a million households. The company aims to grow to a long-term fleet target of 10,000 cars by 2030 and is prioritizing electrification of its fleet. The recent capital will be used specifically to expand its electric vehicle lineup.
