GH Research Ireland is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company developing novel therapies based on 5-MeO-DMT for psychiatric and neurological disorders. Its lead product, GH001, is an inhaled 5-MeO-DMT formulation that completed a Phase 1 healthy volunteer trial where it was well-tolerated and a dose range and individualized dosing regimen were defined. GH001 is currently being investigated in an ongoing Phase 1/2 trial in patients with Treatment-Resistant Depression with the goal of a single-day individualized dosing regimen to achieve rapid, durable remission. The company also plans to advance GH001 into clinical development for additional psychiatric and neurological indications. GH002, an injectable 5-MeO-DMT candidate, is planned to be advanced into clinical development, and the company intends to explore additional drug-delivery approaches.
