gigaroo builds a fintech app aimed at equipping Gen Z with tools, resources, and opportunities to improve their finances. Founded in 2022 by Adir Oren and Yair Almagor, the company launched its app in early January and has attracted thousands of Gen Z users. It works with dozens of service-industry customers and maintains a research and development center in Israel. gigaroo raised $2.5M in pre-seed funding to continue expanding operations and its business reach. The company plans to raise a seed round in the coming months to scale operations in Austin, Dallas, Miami, Boston, and beyond. It also intends to establish partnerships with restaurant point-of-sale and management systems to deepen industry integrations.
