Giveo provides a SaaS-based software platform that lets organizations build targeted cause-related marketing campaigns, promote them online, and measure their effectiveness. The product combines campaign creation, online promotion tools, and analytics to help organizations reach the right audiences with the right messages. The company says it has signed up more than 35 clients since its launch in April 2010. Founder and CEO Ed Messman said the new funding will be used to introduce new solutions and to change how online and social channels are used in cause-marketing campaigns. Giveo raised $1.5 million in a Series A financing to support those plans. The platform is positioned at the intersection of nonprofit/cause marketing and digital marketing SaaS.
