Glass Jar Interactive is a video-game and entertainment studio focused on developing narrative-driven, gameplay-centric IP for PC and console players worldwide. Recognised by India’s Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), the company aims to deliver culturally grounded yet globally competitive interactive experiences. Its debut project, Ghatika, is a fantasy action-adventure game that follows survivors uncovering the secrets of a fallen empire. The studio recently joined the CREATE Incubation Centre at IIIT Lucknow, gaining access to technical resources, mentorship, and state-supported programmes. In addition to incubation support, GJI secured an undisclosed government grant. The company’s financial footing was further strengthened by a Rs 2.3 crore seed investment led by UP Angel Network, which will fund long-term IP creation and scaling efforts.
