Global Spatial Technology Solutions (GSTS) develops OCIANA, an AI-powered maritime intelligence platform for operational optimization, risk and compliance management. OCIANA uses predictive solutions drawing on operational, environmental, vessel, and cargo data to provide real-time decision-making intelligence for ports, terminal operators, shipping lines, logistics companies, importers, exporters, national and international agencies, and security organizations. The platform has applications across commercial, civil, and defense segments. In August 2024 GSTS closed a CAD 11.0M Series A to support commercialization and scaling. The funds will accelerate the global rollout of OCIANA, support expansion into EMEA and APAC, strengthen commercial and AI teams, and enable development of new features focused on digitalization, climate change, and sustainability. The round was led by Fonds de solidarité FTQ with participation from the Export Development Corporation.
