Its core work focuses on creating therapeutic candidates for oncology and infectious-disease indications. The company is advancing clinical programs and intends to continue moving those programs forward. In October 2010 GlobeImmune completed a Series E Preferred Stock financing of $17.5m to strengthen its balance sheet. The round was led by new investors Generali Financial Holding and BSI SA, with participation from existing investors. CEO Timothy C. Rodell, M.D., said the financing will bolster the company’s balance sheet as it advances its clinical programs.
