GlucoSet develops continuous monitoring solutions for the intensive care unit, with an initial product focused on ICU glucose monitoring. The company targets parameters where continuous monitoring can reduce complications and clinical workload and where acceptable solutions are currently lacking. GlucoSet is a technology spin‑off from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and maintains an R&D office in Trondheim, Norway. In its first Series A closing the company secured €6m in equity alongside €3.4m in research and development grants, totaling more than €9m in dilutive and non‑dilutive funding. Management says the financing materially reduces risk and allows the company to move quickly toward market while it pursues a second closing. The largest shareholder remains Norwegian early‑stage fund NIK IV, managed by Televenture Management.
