GNS3 develops virtual network design and testing software that runs on traditional PC hardware and supports Windows, Linux and MacOS X. Led by CEO and co‑founder Stephen Guppy, the product enables virtual testing, design and configuration of networks. The company raised over $600K through a Tilt Open crowdfunding campaign that attracted 13,000 contributors from more than 80 countries. GNS3 plans to use the funds to further develop the software, adding features including paid support and cloud processing. It is also building an online portal for user reviews, vendor promotion, collaboration and continued training. A public beta was released in July and the full version was set to launch in October.
