GoButler
32 Gansevoort Street, New York, 10014, United States
Overview
GoButler provides an SMS personal-assistant service that routes user requests to human employees called “Heroes” to handle tasks such as ordering dinner or making travel reservations. The company has moved out of beta and is available in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Since launching earlier in the year, GoButler says it has been used by more than 100,000 people and processed over 1 million requests. While the team has built technology to automate some responses and improve routing, the service remains highly human-driven and Heroes are actual GoButler employees. The service is currently free and CEO Navid Hadzaad says the company plans to explore monetization via customer-data-driven ad networks and affiliate partnerships without preferential treatment. The founding team includes former Rocket Internet executives and emphasizes operational experience scaling consumer-facing services.
