GoGet operates a TaskRabbit-style marketplace where GoGetters perform errands and temporary work such as deliveries, moving large items, event catering, data entry and office administration. The platform offers management features for companies, including tools for recruiting, training, payments and creating preferred GoGetter lists. It provides career-building features and worker benefits such as online training, networking tools, on-demand savings and insurance plans to improve gig worker sustainability. GoGet says it has 20,000 gig workers and has onboarded 5,000 businesses, including Lazada Malaysia, IKEA Malaysia, Foodpanda and BloomThis. Francesca Chia founded the company in 2014 and the team is focused on addressing labor gaps across ASEAN by enabling workers to switch categories and learn new skills. In the short term GoGet plans to expand across Malaysia and eventually enter other ASEAN countries.
