Overview
Good Food Technologies develops plant-based pork products designed for Asian cuisines, using soy protein and a proprietary konjac-based encapsulation technology called Aromax to mimic pork fattiness. Founded in 2020 and based in Hong Kong, the company offers a range of eight products—five for B2B (meatballs, patties, burgers and ground pork) and three consumer ready-to-cook dumplings—positioning gastronomy-first food service alongside retail. It is an alumnus of the Hong Kong Science Park’s IncuTech program and has secured blue-chip food service contracts, including with Disneyland. The company is preparing a retail debut of its Plant Sifu consumer range and aims to establish pilot production in the Greater Bay Area. Good Food says it will focus on mainland China in the short to medium term while unlocking distribution in the U.S., the U.K. and Singapore. Management plans to launch additional products and open a Series A round within the next two years.
