GoodBuyAuto.it is an online marketplace for buying and selling used cars. Established in January 2015 in Milan, the company offers consumers a more efficient way to buy cars and promotes online buying and booking for the auto sector. Founders position the service as applying the online booking principles common in travel to the car industry. The company raised €1 million in a second round of funding. Investors including Fabio Cannavale, Lorenzo Sistino and Giuseppe Guillot joined the round and, according to the founders, bring expertise and know‑how to the project. Investors praised the company’s guarantees and customer focus as drivers of its growth in the online used‑car market. Co‑founder Charles Salizzoni, who has international management and restructuring experience, said starting the business in Italy was his long‑term goal.
