Goodwall competes with larger networks like LinkedIn at the older end of its demographic but emphasizes early relationships by serving high school students as “the first resume they build.” The startup plans product and sales expansion in the U.S. and intends to use investment to add talent and features for both high school and college users. Goodwall operates a website and mobile app that connects high school students (aged roughly 14–18) to peer networks, colleges and scholarship opportunities and lets them showcase extracurricular accomplishments. The platform recognizes a student each month for extracurricular activities and awards that student a scholarship.
