Gopollgo relaunched its site with a wood-paneled redesign and realtime analytics aimed at extracting more insight from Twitter followers. Users can build and customize polls in seconds, send them to Twitter, and see realtime vote counts, page views and state-level drill-downs. The product reports engagement metrics such as registered users hitting up 25 polls per visit and Twitter-originating visitors spending about eight minutes on the site. The company is a foursome and co-founder Ben Schaechter is a former TechCrunch developer. Gopollgo recently closed a $325K seed round from Idealab and plans to use the funds to hire more engineers. It intends to monetize through partnership deals and premium features like page branding.
