Gorgeous Retail Group (GRG) operates as an online retailer of premium cosmetics, haircare, skincare and related beauty products. The company is shifting its focus further to e-commerce to capitalise on accelerated online shopping trends following Covid-19 restrictions. GRG received a £3.5m investment to support that shift and to expand its market position. Part of the funding will be used to acquire direct competitor Beautyflash, increasing GRG’s market share and product offering. Supported by Connection Capital, GRG’s management intend to pursue a buy-and-build strategy alongside organic growth to scale the business.
