GoSite is a San Diego–based startup that offers a one-stop platform for small and medium businesses to build websites and manage payments, online marketing, appointment booking and accounting. The product integrates with up to 80 third-party services and also builds certain features, such as payments, from the ground up. GoSite targets traditionally offline local businesses — garages, landscapers, hair salons, dentists and similar SMBs — helping them establish and manage an online presence with minimal technical skill. The company says it has "thousands" of SMB customers and doubled its customer base in 2020 amid COVID-19 driven demand. GoSite emphasizes hands-on customer service and integrations with consumer platforms and search engines so customers can "be found everywhere." GoSite provides a cloud-based platform and mobile app that enables traditionally offline small businesses—such as landscapers, hair salons and auto repair shops—to engage with customers online. Led by CEO Alex Goode, the company has powered over 6,000 small businesses on its platform and serves customers in every state. GoSite created more than 200 new jobs in an 18-month period at its San Diego headquarters. The company recently hired Frank Auger as Chief Customer Officer. GoSite is using new capital to expand its national presence, hire talent, and further develop innovative products and services for small businesses.
