goSTOPS leases and transforms budget hotels and operates them as backpacker hostels. The company operates across 27 destinations in India and recently launched goEXPERIENCES to offer treks, multi-destination tours and in-destination experiences. It is targeting the $12-billion Indian youth leisure travel opportunity and plans to aggressively acquire budget hotels to expand nationwide. goSTOPS reported ARR of $2.5 million in October 2021 after 2.5x QoQ growth and said hostel bookings are growing 60% month-on-month as travel picks up. The company aims to reach $5 million ARR by June 2022 and to conclude a Series A by that time. Management highlighted resilience through two Covid waves and is using fresh funds to capitalise on post-pandemic leisure demand among youth.
