Overview
Gosu.ai builds an AI-powered virtual coach and desktop voice assistant that gives real-time, contextual guidance and post-match analysis to League of Legends players. Its assistant predicts player questions, offers tips on items, abilities and strategies, and tailors recommendations to individual player data. The desktop assistant now includes emotive voice and chat features and is currently in open beta. Gosu.ai plans to further develop the assistant using community feedback. The company has raised $2.8 million in its latest round and $5.6 million in total to date. It is based in Vilnius, Lithuania, was founded by Alisa Chumachenko, and employs about 30 people. Gosu.ai develops an AI assistant that analyzes players' matches and specific actions, down to mouse movement, to provide personalized recommendations and prep advice such as gear sets and starting items. The platform currently supports Dota 2 and plans to add CS:GO and PUBG in the near future. Gosu.ai also offers B2B AI tools to gaming companies, including predictive analytics. The company cites a large addressable market, noting roughly 2 billion gamers worldwide and about 600 million who play hardcore games like MOBAs, shooters and MMOs. Gosu.ai raised $1.9M in a funding round led by Runa Capital, with participation from Ventech and existing investor Sistema_VC. Its stated competitors include Mobalytics, Dojomadness and Moremmr, and Gosu.ai differentiates by delivering individualized, action-level coaching rather than generalized statistical analytics.
