GoToTags provides hardware, software and services for NFC-based Internet of Things (IoT) projects, and also sells NFC tags through its online store buynfctags.com. The company has enabled millions of NFC tags on its platform and has serviced over 15,000 IoT deployments across use cases such as smart railways, agricultural tracking, NFC medical records, interactive museums, and an NFC voting system. Customers range from individual developers to Fortune 100 companies. Founded in 2011 by CEO Craig Tadlock and based in Seattle, GoToTags recently raised $300k in funding. The company says it will use the funds to expand its sales and marketing operations. Following the raise, Eric Whitelaw joined as Director of Sales and Jordyn Sifferman joined as Content Creator.
