GOVECS develops, assembles and distributes electric scooters that are manufactured in its own plant in Wroclaw, Poland. Its product range covers European sub-segments from 20km/h scooters up to an 85km/h version comparable to 125cc models. The scooters are equipped with an electric motor described as almost completely noiseless, clean and highly efficient. GOVECS targets both private consumers and fleet operators such as postal and express companies and food delivery firms. Founded in 2009 and led by CEO Thomas Grübel, the company plans to broaden its product portfolio and strengthen its market position in Europe. It intends to use funding to build out sales and marketing activities.
