Grandperspective develops the scanfeld® system, an FTIR spectroscopy‑based remote monitoring solution that can detect, identify and quantify hundreds of gases from distances up to one kilometer. The system provides real‑time localization and visualization of gas leaks and hazardous gas clouds, and supports early warning, plant maintenance and ESG reporting. The fully automated solution delivers intuitive visualization and hazard mapping intended for operator use. The company says its goal is to revolutionize industrial safety standards in the coming years and to enable strong market entry. Grandperspective was founded in 2018; the founding team has extensive remote-sensing and first-responder experience and today the company counts 12 employees. High-Tech Gründerfonds financed the company in cooperation with Brandenburg Kapital, DiaMedCare and various business angels to support commercialization and deployment of the scanfeld solution.
