Graphyte develops a Carbon Casting technology that sequesters carbon-containing biomass waste underground to produce low-cost carbon removals for carbon credit buyers. The company has commenced operations at its Loblolly project in Arkansas, which will reach a capacity of 50,000 metric tons of CO2 removed per year in early 2025. Graphyte plans to accelerate deployment and launch an additional four carbon removal facilities across 2025 and 2026. The company aims to scale to removing more than 5 million tCO2 per year by 2030. Led by CEO Barclay Rogers, Graphyte is positioning its technology to deliver durable, low-cost removals to the market. The company is based in Pine Bluff, Arkansas.
