Gravity, founded and led by British entrepreneur Richard Browning, has developed a patent-pending wearable flight suit that combines body-mounted miniaturized jet engines with a specially designed exo-skeletal suit. The pilot controls thrust and direction by shifting body weight and moving the arms, enabling vertical takeoff and human flight. Gravity has done roughly 20 live demos across seven countries and recently demonstrated at The Europas; its flights have been witnessed by notable figures including Tom Cruise. The company launched earlier this year and has received significant international press and speaking invitations. The recent capital will fund development of a Mark 2 suit and further technical and commercial development of the patent-pending technology.
