Green Fox Academy, founded in 2015 and based in Budapest and Prague, runs four-month bootcamps that aim to turn non-programmers into junior programmers and assist graduates in securing employment. Its curriculum combines programming instruction with soft-skills development and training in learning and adaptability, and the academy reports a substantially higher share of women among its students than the domestic sector average. Since the COVID-19 outbreak Green Fox shifted courses online, began accepting applications from abroad, and tailored its offerings for remote study. The company offers a post-payment income-share style package (available since 2017 and extended to online cohorts in May) so successful participants repay tuition as a fixed proportion of salary. Green Fox publishes an Impact Report to measure social outcomes and ran a free three-week course during the pandemic to broaden access. Its stated growth plans include international expansion, opening more regional schools when possible, and forming partnerships such as a joint IT for Business Data Analytics master course with IBS International Business School starting in September.
