Green Gorilla, co-founded by Steven Saxton and Philip Asquith, is building an international brand in the hemp and cannabis industries and is based in Los Angeles, CA. The company is launching its initial product line, Hemp & Olive, which comprises over 50 supplements, cosmetics and pet care products made from 100% organic extra virgin olive oil infused with 100% pure plant-based cannabidiol (CBD). Products are marketed as 100% Organic, Non-GMO, Vegan, Paleo, Kosher, Gluten-Free, and Sugar-Free. The line will be supported by a web portal (www.ILoveGreenGorilla.com) focused on retail, information and interaction, selling Green Gorilla and select third-party products. Financially, the company has secured $2.5M in funding to date and completed seed, convertible debt and Series A activity. Management plans include raising an additional $100M privately and pursuing an IPO in 2017–2018.
