GreenVibe

Beersheba, HaDarom, Israel, Asia

Overview

GreenVibe develops an embedded sensor system that uses wireless, ultrasound-enabled devices placed in concrete before pouring to monitor strength and condition via a software platform. The system provides updates every 30 minutes and is designed to inform construction decisions such as when to remove formwork, begin post-tensioning, or proceed to the next stage. GreenVibe sees the strongest value on projects with large operating costs and rigid completion schedules, including data-center construction where cement demand is growing. The company acknowledges its sensors can replace some early-stage tests but not the final 28-day cylinder test. GreenVibe raised a $12 million seed round in two phases and plans to use the funding to expand its operations in the U.S., targeting engineering firms, contractors, and developers.
