GridFree AI offers the Power Foundry™ platform, an integrated solution that converts natural gas into electricity and cooling to deliver grid-independent compute infrastructure. The platform claims conversion efficiencies upwards of 90% versus roughly 36% from the grid, a 1/3 reduction in CAPEX and OPEX, and a 50% increase in available power for IT loads. Power Foundry™ is designed for rapid, modular deployment on greenfield sites or expansions where grid access is unreliable and is engineered for future integration with next-generation energy sources such as small modular reactors (SMRs). Initial selected sites are in jurisdictions chosen for favorable regulations, abundant natural gas, land, fiber, and proximity to carbon storage to support net-zero operations. The company was incubated by Montauk Climate and is led by former BP and Microsoft executives with deep experience in energy systems integration and hyperscale data center operations.
