Griptape
701 5th Ave Ste 5100, Seattle, WA, 98104, United States
Overview
Griptape is developing an open-source Python framework and cloud platform that helps companies safely build and deploy LLM applications, including conversational agents, copilots, and autonomous agents. Its tools provide security controls so enterprises can use models such as OpenAI’s GPT or Anthropic’s Claude 2 without compromising data security. The startup pitches itself as an enterprise-grade alternative to LangChain and counts customers including Torc, ThingLogix, and Zennify. Founded earlier this year by Amazon alumni Kyle Roche (CEO) and Vasily Vasinov (CTO), the team also includes CPO Derek Pai and CCO Jason Schleifer and has 12 employees. Griptape is currently in private preview and plans a commercial launch in October. It was selected for the inaugural cohort of the AWS generative AI accelerator.
