Groundhawk is a Finnish infrastructure software company that replaces analogue, post-construction surveys with real-time, centimetre-accurate 3D mapping of underground utilities. Using high-precision satellite positioning, 3D scanning and AI analytics, its handheld device lets on-site crews capture depth measurements, installation details and visual evidence while trenches are still open; the data is instantly synced to a cloud dashboard. This workflow turns documentation into an active quality-control tool, enabling project managers to spot and fix issues immediately and delivering up to 50 % cost savings on traditional surveying. The platform already serves major Nordic and European contractors such as Eltel Networks, Voimatel, Elvera and Signal Group, which in turn work with network operators like Telia, Telenor and E.on. Groundhawk aims to become the standard infrastructure data-capture platform across Europe and plans to extend beyond the continent in 2027. With fresh seed capital, the company will scale its B2B sales force across Germany, the UK, Benelux and the Nordics, expand its engineering team, and add planning and predictive QA features. To date it has raised €2 million and is in an early-revenue phase backed by strong customer traction.
