The company’s original site, launched in 2000, lists more than 6,000 private-event spaces such as castles, hotels, and restaurants. A separate site for professional events offers over 8,000 meeting rooms and business centers, and the group added 1001 Traiteurs in 2011 to book caterers. The business generates bookings by matching customers and professionals across its platforms. The group says it will use the new financing to accelerate growth in France and internationally. Recently it received a financing injection that the CEO framed as an opening of the company’s capital to support the next development steps.
