Growlabs offers a machine-intelligence platform that automates outbound sales by generating leads, sending emails and vetting inbound responses. The platform combines machine learning with a database of 350 million prospects and uses NLP to analyze email content, advise on timing and follow-ups, and tailor messaging by role. Growlabs charges clients on a per-qualified-lead-generated basis, positioning the product as an affordable alternative for smaller businesses compared with subscription-only SaaS. Clients range from those sending a few thousand emails per month to larger customers sending 20,000–30,000 emails. The company was founded by Ben Raffi (creator of ticketing app Universe), Jaclyn Klein and Safeer Jiwan and has an eight-person team. Management says the seed funding will help the team close sales with more small- and medium-size businesses.
