GrowthSpace

Overview
GrowthSpace combines a software-as-a-service platform with a marketplace of experts offering mentoring, coaching, training and workshops. The platform uses a taxonomy of backgrounds and skills and an AI model to predict programs and coach-student matches, and it attempts to mitigate bias by excluding personal characteristics and removing 90% of personal data within three weeks of onboarding. Services are mapped to business KPIs and the product can be deployed modularly or as a comprehensive solution to meet corporate development needs. GrowthSpace reports roughly 3,000 active users across 200 paying customers, including a U.S. government agency, Microsoft, Siemens, EY and Johnson & Johnson. The company has $44 million in total funding on its balance sheet and says it will use new capital to expand globally and continue investing in tech innovation. GrowthSpace is New York City–based with a 70-person team and plans to grow to about 100 employees by year-end. GrowthSpace operates an algorithm-powered platform that connects employees to relevant experts and delivers digital training, coaching, mentoring, lectures and workshops worldwide. Its system uses real-world skill mapping to match employees with experts and addresses scalability and progress-measurement challenges of traditional coaching and mentoring programs. Programs range from short growth sprints and group meetings to lectures covering more than 300 hard and soft competencies. The company works with close to 1,000 experts in over 30 languages across roughly 40 countries and counts Applied Materials, Checkpoint, Johnson & Johnson, Intel, Nespresso, Gainsight, and Taboola among customers. GrowthSpace raised $15M in a Series A, bringing total capital raised to $19M, and said it will use the funds to grow its team globally and expand its technology. The company is led by CEO Omer Glass, COO Dan Terner, and CTO Izhak Kedar and is based in New York.
