Its flagship platform includes an "Active Honeypot" component that dynamically reroutes attacker traffic to a monitored stealth server to expose and eliminate intruders in real time. The company positions its technology to detect and mitigate advanced persistent threats, malware propagation and insider attacks inside software-defined datacenters. GuardiCore says the Active Honeypot is entering evaluation at private clouds and data centers of leading enterprise customers and data center service providers. The company will use the $11 million venture funding to expand, productize and sell its technology. Battery Ventures' Scott Tobin will join GuardiCore’s board following the financing.
