Guomin Pension & Insurance Co. Ltd., founded in 2022, offers pension insurance and related financial products to China’s rapidly aging population. The company’s strategy now includes building out home- and community-based elderly care offerings in line with the country’s “9073” care structure. Backed by strong capitalization, it reported a solvency ratio of more than 500% as of September 2025, well above regulatory requirements. In December 2024, Allianz Global Investors became the firm’s first foreign shareholder with a 2% stake, underscoring international confidence in the platform. Management intends to deepen relationships with municipal governments to accelerate product roll-out and distribution. The forthcoming capital raise will add four new state-owned investors, bringing the total shareholder count to 22. These resources are expected to finance network expansion, service development, and continued regulatory capital strength.
