H2 Energy, founded in 2014 in Zurich, provides worldwide hydrogen system solutions and engineering in the field of fuel-cell and hydrogen applications directly and through its subsidiaries. The company partners with large industrial players such as Hyundai, Alpiq and Linde. H2 Energy was among the first to deliver fuel-cell trucks to commercial users and has created an ecosystem based on green hydrogen. Its trucks are already in operation for large transporters and retailers in Switzerland. The firm’s activities span green hydrogen production, storage and distribution for refuelling stations and industrial customers as well as hydrogen application projects. Trafigura’s committed investment is intended to support further development and deployment across the hydrogen value chain.
