H4D develops telemedicine solutions centered on the Consult Station, a connected doctor’s office that enables secure videoconference consultations and physiological check-ups. The Consult Station is equipped with a comprehensive set of medical instruments (blood pressure monitor, thermometer, oximeter, stethoscope, EKG, glucometer) allowing physicians to perform remotely the majority of procedures for acute and chronic illnesses, including early detection, diagnosis, prescription and follow-up. The company’s solutions are used by corporate clients, local authorities, health insurance companies, hospitals and retirement homes across France, Europe, Africa and North America. Founded in 2008 by Dr Franck Baudino and based in Paris and Aix en Provence, H4D completed a second round of financing in 2016. The company intends to use the €6.7M to accelerate commercial rollout of its telemedicine services and to expand into several attractive markets in France and internationally.
