Hala operates an electric ride-sharing platform aimed at solving last-mile connectivity with e-bikes and battery-swap infrastructure. The company’s stated vision is to reduce pollution, traffic congestion, and provide affordable commutes while building a broad EV ecosystem. Hala reports 8 million green kilometres covered, 717 tonnes of CO2 saved, 300,000 litres of petrol consumption avoided, and roughly 32,000 battery swaps per month. It participated in T-Hub’s Lab32 and T-Angel cohort, during which it refined its business model and achieved a 40% increase in monthly recurring revenue. The startup plans to use the new funds to increase its electric vehicle fleet fivefold, expand swapping infrastructure, and invest in R&D for new product offerings.
