Hallura Ltd. is an aesthetic medical company based in Yokneam, Israel, developing a new generation of hyaluronic acid (HA) dermal fillers. Its products rely on a proprietary crosslinking mechanism designed to maintain and protect natural HA long chains, a technology developed over the prior two years. The company was founded in November 2017 by Dr. Stéphane Meunier, Alona Gellerman, Dr. Per Hedén and Dr. Shimon Eckhouse. Hallura is a portfolio company of Alon Medtech Ventures. It recently closed a $7M Series A financing. Management intends to use the proceeds to complete clinical trials and register its proprietary HA dermal fillers in Europe.
