Hampr is a Lafayette-based technology startup that provides laundry services through a membership model. The company launched in early 2020 and has been growing quickly. Members receive four Hampr laundry hampers and pay $10–$15 per wash. A washer — or washr — picks up the clothes, washes them, then drops them off. Founder Laurel Hess announced the company secured $5 million in funding to support national expansion. The capital is intended to help Hampr scale its service footprint across the U.S.
