HandScape produces the HandyCase, claimed to be the world’s first mobile case series enabling front- and backside touch controls for iPhones and iPads. The HandyCase is designed to be attractive, ergonomic, rugged and to allow one- and two-handed interaction with applications that use the HandScape API. The company offers a free SDK that supports Cocos2d, Cocos3d and Unity3d to encourage games and app developers and to increase engagement and monetization. HandScape positions the product for uses in games, education, camera apps, physical rehabilitation and other touch-intensive applications. The company holds 27 international patents, lists HandyCase pricing starting at $99, and says mass production units will be available in 2Q2016. HandScape recently exceeded a $100,000 Kickstarter goal in under three weeks and closed a $2M first round of funding to support production and delivery.
