HandyPanda operates in India’s building-materials segment, aiming to fix the industry’s fragmented supply chains, limited price transparency, and concerns over product authenticity. Through its mobile-app marketplace, the startup promises reliable, fast delivery of genuine construction products at fair prices. Founded by IIT Delhi alumni Abhishek Rao, Shaurya Goel, and Shaurya Jindal, the company started operations in September and is already nearing an annualised gross merchandise value run rate of ₹1 crore. Management plans to use newly raised capital to expand its product catalogue, strengthen operations and logistics, and add new features to its app. Additional funds will bolster internal teams across product development, operations, and supply-chain management. By focusing on both technology and supply-chain efficiency, HandyPanda seeks to offer a markedly improved buying experience for contractors and builders in the construction sector.
