Happy Elements is a Beijing-based social gaming company founded in 2009 that develops and publishes games across Facebook and major Asian platforms. Its first social game, My Fishbowl (launched August 2009), currently has about 1.5 million daily active users. The company has released titles in Japan, China and South Korea and offers games on platforms including Tencent, Renren, Mixi, Hangame, Cyworld and others. It has also launched several mobile games, including three mobile titles in Japan. Since founding, the team has grown from eight employees to roughly 300 staff. The company plans to use new capital to expand into Western markets, hire new talent and launch multiple smartphone games, targeting over eight new game launches by the end of 2012.
