Harness is a Tampa Bay developer of a mobile platform that helps nonprofits, alumni associations, religious organizations, and political campaigns collect spare change from donors. Donors link credit or debit accounts to track their change, which is automatically collected every time they make a purchase according to set parameters. The platform also allows donors to cap or multiply monthly donations to give within their comfort level. Harness was co-founded by Matthew Gates, Miraj Patel and Andrew Scarborough. The company raised $1.2M in funding and plans to use the proceeds to expand operations. Santosh Govindaraju, CEO of Convergent Capital Partners, led the round and joined the company's board.
