Haul is a mobile-first enterprise marketplace and cloud-based app that matches commercial driver's license (CDL) truck drivers to assignments and provides fleets with a fleet portal to manage drivers. For drivers the app offers interoperable profiles, remote onboarding and training, InstantPay for near-instant daily cash out, and localization in seven languages. For fleet operators Haul provides tools to review qualifications, approve hours, and create private marketplaces for internal employees to claim shifts. Since its initial $3 million seed financing last year Haul's revenue has grown 30 percent month over month. The new $10 million Series Seed extension will be used to quadruple product, engineering, and operations teams to support growth in existing California markets and launches in Texas, Georgia, and Pennsylvania. Haul is based in the San Francisco Bay Area and Denver and was created by Uber Freight alumni to address a severe U.S. CDL driver shortage.
